2016 Summary

It’s hard to believe that I’ve been working on art for seven whole years! Wow. What an emotional ride it has been.

I think I’m finally getting more comfortable with the fact that I’m never going to be completely satisfied with my work–and that’s okay. I want this year to be the year that I can finally just draw shamelessly, and know that everything I do doesn’t have to be a masterpiece. I can draw whatever I want, whenever, however, and even if it’s the same thing, 20 times over, I’m still learning from it.

Art is art. It's never going to be perfect, and it doesn't even have to just be 'good enough', it just has to exist. This year, I hope to create more than in 2016, and experiment in new mediums.
